Climate Justice Charter
City of Vancouver + Climate Equity Working Group (CEWG) (Jan 2022 - Ongoing)
The project was to support CEWG and City of Vancouver Sustainability department staff to develop
the “Climate Justice Charter” to forward a just climate future for Vancouver. Supported the project as
engagement lead, including engagement design and delivery using equitable, culturally-relevant and
-safe, decolonial, and community dignifying practises.

Gender Based Analysis + Environmental Scan
YWCA Metro Vancouver (Dec 2021 - Feb 2022)
Conducted an in-depth environmental scan of Metro Vancouver municipalities as well as other cities
(First Nations, Inuit, Métis, Canada and international) and where and how municipalities are using
GBA+ and/or similar equity tools in their policies, programs and practices.

Community Forum, Data Walk
Surrey Poverty Reduction Coalition (SPRC) (Nov 2021 - Dec 2021)
Supported SPRC to co-lead and design the community forum event, deliver facilitator preparation
sessions, and co-facilitated the data walk to attending participants.

Municipal Equity Framework: Best practises report
Township of Langley (Oct 2021 - Jan 2022)
Conducted a scan of 13 equity frameworks from across North America, and four more general equity
guides and toolkits, and provided an analysis of the content, structure and creation process of these
documents. Follow-up interviews with key staff practitioners were conducted with three municipalities,
to uncover more details around the process, challenges and learnings of creating and implementing
equity frameworks. The results of the analysis were shared with a group of ToL staff to generate
learnings and get feedback on curiosities and concerns in relation to possible components of an
equity framework.

RTS Social Equity Review, Policy and Social Equity Advisor
Translink (Mar 2021-Dec 2021):
Applied a social equity review to the draft 2050 Regional Transportation Strategy (RTS) and made
social equity policy recommendations for the draft 2050 RTS. Currently advising on RTS engagement
with equity-denied groups.

Social Equity & Transportation Regional Study Engagement Lead
Metro Vancouver and TransLink
(July – Dec 2020)
The project included planning, design and implementation of Listening and Learning engagement
sessions, with an explicit focus on equitable participation and safety with racialized and LGBTQ2S
folks, to understand how long-range regional transportation plans can support greater social equity.
Created the Social Equity Analysis Tool (SEAT), a framework for applying equity considerations to
policy development.

Hey Neighbour Collective, Facilitator (2019-2021):
Hey Neighbour Collective (HNC) is a multi-year project that brings together housing providers,
non-profits, researchers, local and regional governments, housing associations and health
authorities to learn ways to build community, social connectedness and resilience in BC’s fast-growing
multi-unit housing. Supported core team's work in convening, organizing, facilitating a community of practise.

Hey Neighbour! Pilot, City of Vancouver, Project Coordinator (2018-2019):
Hey Neighbour! Is a resident-led initiative aimed at increasing social connectedness, neighbourliness,
and resilience in multi-unit buildings. The program highlights the impacts that increased sociability
can have on the mental and physical health of residents, and the role that municipalities, residents,
and the housing industry can play in cultivating these connections.

abOUT, Posabilities, Co-lead (2016-2018):
Facilitated and supported the development of a disabled queer-affinity group for LGBTQIA2Ss+ folks
with intellectual disabilities to come together and co-create their own safe space through collective
learning and actioning
